A new, longer 18-hole, par 72 golf course will be the gem of the Golf Resort La Gruyère.
A grandiose natural panorama will serve as its backdrop. It will melt into one of the most enchanting landscapes so typical of Switzerland. Over its entire length, it will unfurl a panoramic view of stunning beauty: lake Gruyère, the Moléson mountain and, in the background, the majestic peaks of the Alpine foothills.
Remodelled and extended by Robert Trent Jones Jr., the noted golf architect, the new golf course will harmoniously hug the natural curves of the landscape. The 18-hole course will present a new challenge to golf enthusiasts. Particular attention will be paid to its integration into the existing landscape while respecting ecological constraints, in order to make it not only one of the most beautiful golf courses in Switzerland, but also adopting best practices to environmental management. With its new design, its Par 72 and its total length of 5900 meters, the new golf course it will gain true international stature.
